Pakal Dul Hydroelectric Power Project

The Pakal Dul Dam, under construction in the Kishtwar district of Indian Jammu and Kashmir, is a concrete-face rock-fill dam located on the Marusudar River, a Chenab River tributary. Designed primarily for hydroelectric power generation, it boasts a total capacity of 108,000,000 m3 (88,000 acre⋅ft) and stands at a height of 167 meters upon completion.
