The Rishikesh–Karnaprayag line is an under-construction railway route connecting Yog Nagari Rishikesh station to Karnaprayag, part of Indian Railways’ proposed Char Dham Railway to facilitate pilgrimages in Uttarakhand. The project includes 4 tunnels totaling 19.5 km, 3 bridges, and 2 stations. It aims to significantly reduce travel time between Rishikesh and Karnaprayag from 7 hours to 2 hours. The longest tunnel in the project is 6,657 meters.
