Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

The 21.8 km long cable-stayed Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also called the Sewri–Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, is a Rs 17,843 crore six-lane freeway-grade road bridge connecting Sewri on Mumbai Island with Navi Mumbai. Of the total length, 16.5 km is through sea and about 5.5 km is on land. Upon completion, it would be the longest sea bridge in India and would cater to 70,000 vehicles daily. The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) is constructing the structure.
