Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project
#CAC is honoured to play a role in one of India’s most transformative infrastructure initiatives — the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, the nation’s first bullet train corridor and a defining milestone in India’s journey toward high-speed connectivity.
The 508 km high-speed rail corridor, being developed at an estimated cost of ₹1.08 lakh crore (approx. USD 17 billion), is implemented by National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) with financial and technical assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project stands as a powerful example of global collaboration and cutting-edge engineering excellence.
Featuring 12 world-class stations and India’s first undersea high-speed rail tunnel, along with a complex mix of elevated, underground, and surface structures, the project reflects the scale and technical sophistication of this landmark endeavour. With major progress achieved on viaducts, piers, steel and river bridges, tunnel breakthroughs, and track works, several sections of the corridor are progressing toward phased commissioning ahead of full completion.
At CAC, we are proud to support this iconic project with our high-performance hashtag#admixtures solutions, engineered to meet the demanding requirements of high-speed rail infrastructure—delivering innovation, durability, and reliability where it matters most.
