Our colleague Shrikant Varpe, recently conducted a technical training session for the technicians and QC engineers of L&T Construction at the Vangaon and Payegaon sites of the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, developed by National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL).

The session focused around concrete materials and their key properties, impact of variations of materials, and the importance of timely corrective actions in concrete mixes during site operations. The discussion also covered the relevance of Indian Standards in concrete practice, along with the types, working mechanisms, and advantages of chemical admixtures.

We extend our sincere thanks to Pramod Singh, Quality Control Head and sanoj kumar, Quality Control Manager for organizing this session at the project sites.
