At the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) Quality Week 2025, our Associate Technical Director, Nirmalendu Kargupta, had the honour of delivering a keynote session on “Admixture Innovation for Specialized & New-Generation Concrete Applications.”

Addressing an audience of 200+ industry leaders—Chief Engineers, Quality Heads, and on-site engineers—Nirmalendu Kargupta shared insights into how next-generation hashtag#admixture technologies are elevating performance across advanced concrete systems. From Self‑Compacting Concrete (SCC) delivering flawless flow to Ultra‑High‑Performance Concrete (UHPC) achieving remarkable strength and durability, and from Mass Concrete with controlled heat of hydration to LC3 concretes extending sustainability, to Roller‑Compacted Concrete (RCC) leveraging unique fresh state consistency (zero slump) and extended setting time to prevent cold joints—each formulation underscored the transformative role of admixtures in modern infrastructure. The session also highlighted advancements in waterproofing admixtures, corrosion-resistant systems, and shotcrete technologies, demonstrating how precision chemistry strengthens resilience, efficiency, and long-term durability in construction.
