The Silkyara Bend – Barkot Tunnel is a 4.531 km long, two-lane bi-directional tunnel with an escape passage, located on the Dharasu-Yamunotri section between Chainage 25.400 km and Chainage 51.000 km in Uttarakhand. Part of NH-134 (formerly NH-94), the project is being constructed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Mode. Funded under the NH (O) Scheme of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, it is a key component of the ambitious Chardham Plan.
