Uddampur Baramulla Rail is a Rs 27,494 crore project. Railway sections on this project are Udampur – Katra, Katra – Banihal, Banihal – Qazigad, Qazigad – Baramullah. The project is expected to open the door to an all weather transport link and perhaps the most beneficial for Kashmir.
